MINNEOPA BIRD COUNT 1999 - 2003

In 1999-2002 the survey was conducted by four teams walking four sections of the park: east of the falls, west of the falls on the falls side, and east and west prairie, dividing at the loop trail road crossing on the prairie side. In 2003 a fifth "area" was added, the Minnesota River -- a canoe traveled up the river roughly two miles.
